Libby and Hilary	Libby was seen by a volunteer tied to a tree. As a rescue group in the counties we support, there are no leash laws, and our hands are tied in a situation like Libby's - unless the owner is willing to surrender. Libby was one of the lucky ones - her owner gave her up to Castaways. After medical checkup, and necessary medical needs met for adoption, Libby was taken to Pet Smart in Alpharetta. A very special lady named Hilary fell instantly in love with Libby, but, husband had to be convinced. Two weeks later, at our next adoption, the couple took Libby to her forever loving home. Can you tell by the picture "dad was easily convinced" and Libby tells us he sometimes call her by a special name "Princess".. Animal rescue can at times be very stressful and disheartening, but thanks to the kindness and committment of wonderful volunteers, stories like Libby's are what make it so rewarding. *If you know of an animal being neglected, abused or abandoned, call Castaway!
